Service Animal Policy for Tours and Rentals

At AWOL Adventure Sports, safety is our top priority — for our guests, our guides, and animals alike. While we respect and support the role of service animals, we are unable to allow them on the following activities due to safety concerns:

• Kayak & SUP Board rentals

• Guided Kayak tours

• Zip Line tours

• Pontoon Boat tours

These activities involve environments that can be unpredictable, physically demanding, or high-risk, especially for animals. The nature of these tours — including water exposure, fast movement, sudden stops, and limited space — can pose a danger both to the individual with the service animal and to the animal itself.

In addition, we do not supply life jackets for animals and are not equipped to assess the fit or function of animal flotation devices. For these reasons, we cannot safely accommodate service animals on watercraft or the zip lines.
